Here are some highlights of the parish this week:
- MARRIAGE PREPARATION CLASSES (in English) are scheduled for THIS Saturday, September 18th and next Saturday, September 25th. If you or someone you know is preparing to get married within the next year, come by or call the office for information and to register for our 2-part class.
- BAZAAR AUCTION ITEMS are needed. What kinds of items would you buy from our auction? Those items are what we need. If you can donate new or like-new items for our live and silent auctions, please bring them to the church office by Friday, October 1st!
- BAZAAR GENERAL MEETING will be THIS Thursday, September 16th. ALL Parishioners are encouraged to attend; how can YOU help our bazaar be a success?

Br. Thomas Martin Bustos Garduño
Our seminarian, Cristian Bustos Garduño, has joined the seminary of the Dominican Friars. As he entered the semiary, he received a new name: Brother Thomas Martin, after St. Thomas Aquinas and St. Martin de Porres. Please keep him in your prayers. OEC/Youth Ministry NEWS: Registration is still open for 2021-2022 OEC Faith Formation. Our next registration date is Wednesday, September 8th from 3pm to 8pm. If you have any questions, please contact Ms. Ninfa, Ms. Maggie, or Ms. Stephanie in the OEC office.
- Tomorrow, Monday September 13th, we will have a Catechist Meeting.
- On Tuesday, September 14th, we will start Reconciliation classes for our third year First Communion students.
- On Wednesday, September 15th, we will have a parent/student meeting for 1st year Confirmation families at 7pm and 2nd/3rd year families at 7:30pm.
- Students who have been preparing to make their confirmation this October will attend class on Wednesday.

We’ve missed our parishioners, and we missed having our big bazaar last fall! As we begin to reopen and return to a new normal, we are excited to plan a big fall bazaar for Sunday, October 24, 2021. Mark your calendars!
- Have you sold your raffle tickets? Stop by the table after Mass next weekend or come by the office during the week to pick up yours. Help us sell, sell, sell! Check out the flyer below for more information.

- The plant booth is in need of plant donations and is asking the parish to help. Donations can be brought to the church office.
- Our Bazaar GENERAL MEETING for all booth chairmen, booth workers, volunteers, and everyone else who can help at the bazaar will be THIS Thursday, September 16th at 7pm in the Family Life Center.
- Sign up for festival committee updates and reminders by joining the Festival Committee group on Flocknote for St. Andrew, or contact Lindsay Schlegel in the church office (acc7067@standrewchurch.net or 281-452-9865).
MEN'S ACTS RETREAT: ACTS is back! We will host a Men's ACTS retreat on November 11-14, 2021 at the Christian Renewal Center (CRC). If you or someone you know is interested in attending the retreat, please complete the registration form below and turn it in to the office or any ACTS Men's Team Member with your $50 deposit.
